Zerust® vapour capsules provide easy to use targeted corrosion protection for use inside any type of enclosure including gun safes, toolboxes, outboard engines, dashboards, etc. Easy to install in seconds with corrosion protection for one year.

The Zerust® vapor capsule will arrive packed in plastic. The vapor capsule is activated once the plastic pack is opened. For the VC1 and VC2 vapor capsules peel off the adhesive backing and affix to almost any surface inside of an enclosure. For the VC6 vapor capsule either sit on a suitable surface or attach using a cable tie. Write the date of installation on the vapor capsule. The vapor capsule should be placed as close as possible to the centre of the enclosure to ensure full corrosion protection as per the diagrams below.                                        Centre                 Corner                    Side                      Dual            Securely Close

How to use
The Zerust® vapour capsule will arrive packed in plastic. The vapour capsule is activated once the plastic pack is opened. For the VC1 and VC2 vapour capsules peel off the adhesive backing and affix to almost any surface inside of an enclosure. For the VC6 vapour capsule either sit on a suitable surface or attach using a cable tie. Write the date of installation on the vapour capsule.

The vapour capsule should be placed as close as possible to the centre of the enclosure to ensure full corrosion protection. The enclosure should limit air exchange with the outside atmosphere. If small air leaks are present then place the vapour capsule close to the source of the airflow.

Important information

Zerust® vapour capsules are non-toxic, odourless, non-allergenic and environmentally friendly. They have no chemicals that flake off, stick to or otherwise damage the product they are supposed to protect. Vapour capsules can be used in conjunction with desiccants. In this situation the vapour capsules acts as an emitter of vapour corrosion inhibitors and the desiccant absorbs water.
Safe to use on wood finishes, optics, electronics, rubber, plastics and other materials/finishes.

Note

Avoid exposure to paper as over time (5+ years) the paper will yellow.
